Investment in our products and infrastructure
Mobil Oil Guam continually works to better serve our customers and the community, through improvements in our product offering and facilities. Some notable accomplishments in the past five years include:
- The successful completion of upgrades to 20 Mobil service stations, including canopy replacements, which have enhanced the overall customer experience at our stations.
- Completion of the Guam terminal upgrades to ensure reliable supply of high quality fuels to our customers.
Contribution to the University of Guam's 21st Century campus
We are the first petroleum company to contribute to the University of Guam's engineering program as part of the institution’s 60th Anniversary Capital Campaign. Mobil Oil Guam continues to contribute annually towards the completion of the University of Guam’s 21st Century campus.
Contribution to the Academy of Our Lady of Guam Endowment Fund
Mobil Oil Guam gives to the Academy of Our Lady of Guam's Endowment Fund, in support of Math and Science education. Mobil Oil Guam has been a tremendous supporter of Academy's Endowment Fund since 2008. Mobil continues to generously donate each year to help Academy students with their studies in Math and Science, many of whom are interested in entering into related professions.
Contribution to the Notre Dame High School's Science Program
Since 2009, Mobil Oil Guam has been donating funds to Notre Dame High School’s Math and Science program. In December 2014, Mobil Oil Guam’s support went towards the purchase of science and mathematics learning resources to help align Notre Dame’s curriculum with 21st Century learning and technology. Mobil’s continued funding to Notre Dame supports the school’s mission to “prepare students for college and lifelong learning that encourages collaboration, instills leadership, promotes dedication to service, and inspires passion for justice and peace.
International Coastal Cleanup
Mobil Oil Guam's employees and their families joined volunteers around the globe for the 20th Annual International Coast Cleanup, held on September 20, 2014. This is the second year that Mobil has been a part of this International Event. 2014. The cleanup, organized by the Guam Coastal Management Program of the Bureau of Statistics and Plans, involved 4,500 participants collecting 10 tons of trash from 22 sites both on land and underwater. Our Mobil team collected a total of 200lbs of trash along the East Agana Coast Line that runs in front of our Guam Main Office.
Support for News in Education
Mobil supports the "News In Education" program, providing ongoing financial support to promote literacy and education in the community. Copies of newspapers are provided to schools to assist teachers in the classroom to help facilitate learning and study in the areas of geography, current affairs, social science and many more topical subjects.
